Role: On-Floor Camera Operators (Back Cam, Left Cam, Runner)

Overview

This document teaches camera operators how to respond, position, and frame during live services based on cue timing and callouts from the switcher (see Document A). It is fully inverse-aligned with the Switcher Protocol. Once trained, operators should instinctively react to timing cues, know their framing zones, and move with confidence and discipline.

🎯 Unified Camera Naming System (Must Follow)

Operators must refer to and recognize their camera by these names — no exceptions:

Do NOT refer to cameras as “Cam 6,” “Cam 3,” or by operator name. This ensures smooth switching and cross-role understanding.

🎧 Standard Cue Response Flow

Here’s how you should think and act when you hear cues over the headset:

  1. Prep Cue (You hear):

“Left Cam, standby — you’re next in 5.”

Your Mental Flow:

  1. Action Cue (You hear):

“Left Cam, choir wide — live in 3.”
